Our Story

I am Elizabeth Hartman, the widow of Carl D. Hartman, Proprietor of Heirloom Clocks, who bought, sold, repaired and collected clocks for 40 years, maintaining a booth at the Black Angus/ Ironbridge Antiques Mall in Adamstown, PA.

After Carl passed away August 14, 2022, I spent a year documenting what he left behind. On this website I am offering for sale over 100 collection clocks, over 100 clocks that need some repair and also over 1000 reusable parts of clocks.

Carl had been a NAWCC Member (#94345) since 1987. After his death I joined as well (#0187190), although I do not work on clocks myself. However, I do heartily agree with the NAWCC Ethical Code A3 to “support the collection and preservation of horological items”, and “not engage in activities that encourage the loss of these to posterity.” In this spirit, I documented each item and created this website that showcases them for sale to interested parties.
